Montana’s participation in Data Center Nation Milan 2026

On 27 May, Montana took part in DCN Milan 2026 at Allianz MiCo, one of the key appointments in the European data center calendar.

Developers, investors, operators and technical partners gathered for a day of high-level discussion — and one thing stood out: 2026 is shaping up as a turning point for the sector.
Driven by the acceleration of AI and digital transformation, data centers are increasingly strategic infrastructure for Europe’s future.

Italy, with its growing market maturity and its position as a Mediterranean and European connectivity hub, has a real opportunity to play a leading role in this landscape.

Montana is actively part of this transformation. With over ten projects developed across Italy — mainly in the Milan and Turin metropolitan areas — we support developers and investors from the earliest stages of site selection and permitting through to construction, bringing together environmental engineering, hydraulic design, grid connection, and project management under a single point of contact.

Rapid growth, however, comes with responsibilities. Making the most of this moment will require genuine collaboration between public and private stakeholders and a shared commitment to sustainable development — something that sits at the core of how we work.
